EXCELLENT NEWS! ALBRIGHT MEMORIAL LIBRARY RE-ACQUIRES ANCESTRYLIBRARY AND HERITAGEQUEST

Great News!

The Reference Department was able to re-acquire our subscriptions to our two genealogy databases--AncestryLibrary and HeritageQuest (including remote access to the latter with your Library Card).

AncestryLibrary, available to use onsite at Albright Memorial Library only, is a collection of genealogical records, images and data--such as US and UK Census records, birth and death records, military records, immigraton records, passenger lists and more!

HeritageQuest is available from home! Search Census records from 1790-1930, 20,000 family and local histories, Revolutionary War records, and Freedman's Bank (1865-1874). You can visit Heritage Quest from home with your Lackawanna County Library System Library Card. Just enter your 14 digit LCLS Library Card number at the prompt.
