Pages & Place Cafe Talk On Scranton Reads Book Thursday, September 27th at Radisson

In conjunction with Scranton Reads, the Pages & Places Cafe will present "Building Cultural Understanding: The Role of Curandera in 'Bless Me, Ultima' by Rudolfo Anaya" on Thursday, September 27th at 7 PM at the Platform Lounge in the Radisson Hotel.

The program is free and open to the public.

The presenter, Dr. Agnes Cardoni, is Assistant Professor of English at Marywood University, where she specializes in Medical Humanities and Teacher Education.

Join Dr. Cardoni for a discussion of this year's Scranton Reads selection and the roles of the healer woman in literature,

The program will begin at 7 PM, with a Cocktail Hour preceding the event at 6 PM.
