This thought provoking discussion group has been in place for over three years at Albright Memorial Library. You are welcome to come and check it out. A variety of people raise questions and respectfully listen to one another discuss a topic chosen that evening. No previous learning is required.

Free Tax Preparation Assistance From United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties

The United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties is offering free tax preparation assistance February 5th through April 1st at 9 locations throughout Wayne and Lackawanna Counties. The program is for low and medium income households and senior citizens of both counties.

CABIN FEVER: A Book Club For Grown-Ups This February at Albright Memorial Library

Don’t lament winter. Take advantage of it by catching up on your reading with Cabin Fever, the book club for grownups. Sign up is now underway. Then, curl up in your favorite chair, forget about the weather, and read. After three books, Spring will be just around the corner. We can’t change the weather, but we can give you Cabin Fever.

Library Closed Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Albright Memorial Library will be closed Monday, January 16th in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will reopen Tuesday at 9 AM.
