Zines, stemming from "fanzines" of the early 1960s, have spanned generations in the underground literature, art, and music scenes in various areas of the world. Essentially a handmade magazine, discover the history and future of these publications and learn how to create one yourself with some basic supplies on Monday, April 7th at 7 pm in the Community Room . Come with an idea you'd like to write about - music, travels, recipes, relationships, social issues - anything works! We'll provide the supplies and you can have participate in zine culture.  Sign me up

Want to check out more zines?  Visit the Scranton Zine Fest on June 7th at the Tripp Park Community Center. For more information check out their website: http://scrantonzinefest.weebly.com/schedule.html
